Find your perfect piano at the Kawai piano sale

Thanks to an association with the Rockley Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps support music education, the Department of Music at NC State University has had the use of new first-class pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2018-2019 school year. These instruments and ones made otherwise available will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program. A large selection of grand pianos, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos and digital pianos will be available. This event will feature instruments from such famous makers as Kawai, Shigeru Kawai, a selection of vintage Steinway & Sons, Yamaha and many others. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned and ready to go. Delivery and technical services are provided by Maus Piano. Special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of the purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax deductible (consultation with a tax advisor is recommended).

There are two ways to view and purchase pianos during the sale:

  1. BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special pre-sale on Thursday, May 2, Friday, May 3 and the morning of Saturday, May 4 along with our faculty and staff, prior to the general public. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reduction. To secure a time call: (919) 624-3207.
  2. FINAL DAY: You may attend the final sale day on Saturday, May 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. without an appointment.

This event will be held at the Price Music Center, 2620 Cates Ave, Raleigh, NC 27695-7311. For further directions call or visit: www.RockleyFamilyFoundation.org/NCState.
