Band Camps (Middle School)

June 15-19, 2020

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2020 CONCERT AND JAZZ BAND CAMPS WILL OPEN ON JANUARY 1.

Designed for middle school students with an interest in music performance in jazz or concert bands, Band Camp will provide an intensive performance experience which will improve both individual and collaborative musical skills.

We will offer two concert bands (one sixth grade band, one seventh and eighth grade band) and one jazz ensemble (seventh and eighth grades). Campers receive daily instruction including two full ensemble classes each day and musicianship classes. Camp tuition includes instructions, five lunches in a campus dining hall and a camp t-shirt. Our summer camp programs feature instruction by NC State faculty and experienced, award-winning public school music educators.

Open to current sixth through eighth graders in middle school. A limited number of spaces are available so please register early. You will need to select either jazz band or concert band at the time of registration and will be unable to change this selection later.
